I’ve been slacking a bit, but here’s some nu nu from flamboyant Korean MC G-Dragon titled “미치GO” mixing elements of his trademark bizarre flow over a sick trap beat. The video itself is reminiscent of his previous video for Crayon and One of A Kind, with cameos from labelmates Taeyang, Seven and Teddy. While in the past GD hasn’t really wowed me as a solo act after his mini album One of A Kind changed my opinion this song itself is actually turning me into a a fan of him outside of BIGBANG. While his fellow members of BIGBANG teeter the line of sharp Gucci suits and outrageous high fashion, Taeyang, pushes the edges of high-end urban wear such as Timbs, custom snapbacks, and hoodies dressed with bombastic jewelry, with pieces belonging to brands such as Givenchy, Balmain and Chrome Hearts. He’s known for the last few years for his Mohawk costing idly while band mates T.O.P & GD got praise for their styles, it wasn’t until 2011 where Taeyang picked up cues from Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and 90′s west coast hip-hop fashion.

Yesterday K-Pop Singer Taeyang covered Chris Brown’s Don’t Judge via his YouTube account. The multitalented singer showcased his keyboard skills as well as the clarity in his voice without the use of studio effects commonly used in the music he performs with his band BIGBANG.

BIGBANG for Vogue Korea

My favorite K-Pop boyband make their official comeback to the music scene this Wednesday with their song “Blue” off their 5th mini album “Alive” after teasing fans with song titles, promo photos featuring dramatic new looks (well except Taeyang and Seungri), videos and the announcement of their world tour, Bigbang made their television comeback on   SBS “Healing Camp” revealing details about their time away, the new album and what was almost the disbandment of Bigbang.
