Over the last decade or two the female pop star has been on a steady incline that has yet to be bothered. Over the last 20 years the majority of the successful tours, music videos, singles and albums have been by women of pop. You had Mariah and Whitney setting and breaking records in the 90s, Rihanna and Beyoncé holding down the hot 100 in the mid 2000s and the recent years Lady Gaga has snatched more wigs in 3 years than your faves did in their entire career*. But with all the success these women and many more have and will continue to achieve they have been plagued with controversial rumors of everything from Devil worship to constantly ripping off legends that have come before them.
