Ok so this is easily one of the most played songs this week, Lady Gaga goes trap! I’m just cruising around the internet looking for new music and what turns up “Cake Like Lady Gaga” there’s a lot of debate if it’s her or not, but I believe it is. The song is trap music like Lil B and RiFF RAFF trap not Gucci Mane, produced by DJ White Shadow it started off as a contest by him after posting the instrumental online, then the official clip was released with Gaga’s voice screwed. But if you are trying to keep yourself anonymous why repeat your name 45 times? Then a fan took her voice up a few pitches and it was revealed to be the singer. I like the song it’s not to be taken serious which is why I think I love it even more within 24 hours of the song hitting the net it became an internet meme throughout Tumblr. Over the last decade or two the female pop star has been on a steady incline that has yet to be bothered. Over the last 20 years the majority of the successful tours, music videos, singles and albums have been by women of pop. You had Mariah and Whitney setting and breaking records in the 90s, Rihanna and Beyoncé holding down the hot 100 in the mid 2000s and the recent years Lady Gaga has snatched more wigs in 3 years than your faves did in their entire career*. But with all the success these women and many more have and will continue to achieve they have been plagued with controversial rumors of everything from Devil worship to constantly ripping off legends that have come before them.  I’m gonna cover the people who waste their time to make it hard to like an artist and why they should be stopped.
