This week’s HOMMEBOY is none other than the iconic multitalented age defying Pharrell Williams who’s pretty much been an inspiration of mine since I was a tween. Today’s birthday boy turns
40 errm.. I mean 20 (I mean look at him would YOU think he’s 40?), and I’m celebrating by showcasing some of his most recent looks that have inspired and played a part in my current wardrobe and what can possibly help you out. Pharrell single handedly shows how to properly manage street style with runway by marrying it his individuality. He has also graced the cover of countless magazines and is partly responsible for some of the brands and trends most hype beast damn near go broke to mimic *points to self*. Happy Birthday Mr. Williams and Thank You for continually showing uw what a modern day innovator really looks like.
I gotta stop doing these on these people’s birthday’s it’s getting weird.
I haven’t done one of these in weeks, but i figured why not do one on a girl who better than today’s Birthday Girl, Lee Chaerin aka Seoul City’s baddest female CL of 2NE1 aka The Leader or just CL. Since the start of her career in 2009 with 2NE1, CL who turned 22 today, has been the muse for Jeremy Scott’s work with Adidas, known for her spunky TLC inspired Tomboy style mixed with a fearing, take no shit stage persona that can be compared to a Michael Jackson and Beyoncé. CL and 2NE1 faced criticism for not being like the other Korean girl groups who portrayed traditional female male images, which in my view is kind of degrading, the group fought back while getting wilder and crazier. Fluent in Korean, English, French and Japanese CL took her fierce concept stateside and around the world with 2NE1 blazing stages, red carpets and fashion weeks, dressed in Chanel, Jeremy Scott, Balmain and Givency.
Happy Birthday CL, from one of your American Blackjacks

While his fellow members of BIGBANG teeter the line of sharp Gucci suits and outrageous high fashion, Taeyang, pushes the edges of high-end urban wear such as Timbs, custom snapbacks, and hoodies dressed with bombastic jewelry, with pieces belonging to brands such as Givenchy, Balmain and Chrome Hearts. He’s known for the last few years for his Mohawk costing idly while band mates T.O.P & GD got praise for their styles, it wasn’t until 2011 where Taeyang picked up cues from Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and 90′s west coast hip-hop fashion.

Uniqlo presents the Look book for their Spring/Summer 13 line featuring various preppy bright colours presented in a ’Super Rich Kids‘ type of way ala Carlton Banks with a 90′s urban twist to it, if that makes sense.
I think I’m gonna have an award ceremony at the end of this year to commemorate the greatness of the year and I’m positively sure KTZ will win for best Fashion ad by far, from the model to the music, the camera effects and the line itself. This ad stars Eric Underwood E, rocking pieces from the 2013 Autumn collection designed by Koji Maruyama, with headpieces created by Rein Vollenga x KTZ with banging ass music by Diplo.
The youngest member of Steed Lord is known for his for making futuristic dramatic beats that add to the band’s sultry lyrics and vocals, but his style also compliments that of the bands Angelic Icelandic Geisha vocal diva mixing street urchin chic with high end class. His use of accessories always compliments any occasion whether for stage or just to take a sharp picture of himself working in the studio.
