My favorite band of 2011 have released a mini musical for WeSc and The Standard collaboration, the film is the 2nd in a series of films. here’s an excerpt
On the one hand there is the streetwear brandWeSC made in Sweden, which boasts collaborations with undergronud artists, the other the American chain of boutique hotelsThe Standard, strongly linked to the world of design.
This second short film is created by the musical performance art project Steed Lord. Originally from the Iceland, Mega, Kali and Demo are the three components of thisartistic group that mashes experimental cinema, photography and fashion and turns them into hard and electric sounds from their songs. Since 2006 their colorful and eccentric songs rage in underground scenes allover the world. WeSC and Standard have requested them to interpret the The Standard Headphones, which have a vintage shape and dazzling color.
Transform was born from the story of two people whom find themselves in the same city and places, having breakfast in the same room, but at different moments. For Steed Lord this is a journey within the sensations they have from the trips taken across the continents for their concerts and performance, and still be able to compose dedicating themselves to their art.
